The Winnebago Domestic Violence Intervention & Family Preservation Program assists victims and their families to escape the cycle of violence and empowers them to build new lives.
The advocacy program strengthens self-sufficiency and secures long-term independence from domestic abuse for victims and their family members. It provides supportive services and resources to aid victims during their time of need.
Safety planning begins immediately once the victims arrive at the temporary shelters and continues after they leave. Our passionate staff offers several types of assistance include encouraging victims to make safe choices for themselves and their families. Advocates give survivors ongoing emotional and financial support while determining the best solutions and options to help them begin a new life without fear and violence.
